Quickstart

Get an API key and translate your first sentences, with a quality score for each one.

The TranslaQE API translates text and documents and tells you, sentence by sentence, how much to trust each translation. This page takes you from nothing to a first translation.

1. Get an API key

Create a free account and open API keys in the web app. Create a key and copy it: it is shown only once. The free trial gives you a month and 100,000 characters, with no card.

Keep the key on your server. Do not put it in a web page or in an app that people download.

2. Translate

Send the sentences to POST /v1/translate, with the language they are in and the language you want.

3. Read the answer

Each sentence comes back with its translation, a score from 0 to 100 and a band:

fiable 85 or more Reliable: use it as it is.
revisar 60 to 84 Worth a review by a person.
rehacer Under 60 Translate it again.
sin-nota — No score: the language pair has none yet, or you sent qe: false.

That is the point of the score: send to human review only the sentences that need it.
